The cooler of the two single vineyard sites, Block 2 2024 is grippy and tight and brittle, offering fresh citrus, sherbet and apples, full of vim and vigour. Block 2 is a cool east facing site which tends to produce a more austere Chardonnay of focus. Produced from 100% Mendoza clone, it was aged for 17 months in 5–6-year-old barrels.

The 2024 Chardonnay Block 2 is focused, firm and athletic. It has drive and continually propels forward. Ripe citrus and nectarine combine with sophisticated oak use that adds complexity. The 2024 is tight and compact but intense, with all the components to evolve and unfurl over the next decade and beyond.
