Quinta Do Noval

Quinta do Noval is a legendary, single estate located in the heart of the Douro valley. With 145HA under vine the estate benefits from a plethora of differing altitudes, expositions, and varietal compositions from which they select the finest grapes to go into the flagship Vintage Port. This usually equates to just 10% of the total production. All the grapes are still foot trodden in historic stone lagares and at the heart of the property lies the famous Nacional plot, an ungrafted 1.60 hectare vineyard which yields tiny bunches of highly concentrated grapes, that in turn have historically produced some of the greatest Ports of all.
