The 2023 Chenin Blanc Veiling Cape Winemakers Guild comprises six barrels and is a reflection of the Skaliekop and Plat'bos vineyards. It has a lifted bouquet with oily/resinous scents that gain in intensity with aeration. The palate boasts a lovely waxy texture, revealing notes of Clementine, black pepper and bitter lemon and finishing with wonderful tension. Excellent.
