Chenin Blanc, Ava, 2025

As ever, a little more yellow fruited than the Noa, with a neater and fresher feel than it typically shows, a harmonious floral and succulent finish with background notes of honey and hay. The first year aged exclusively in in foudré, Ava 2025 has an elegant taper aligning it closer to the Noa bottling in the early going. Ava Chenin comes from a single vineyard planted on schist soils, which typically heads for Chardonnay-esque development as the wine opens up. Total production 2,500bts.
