El Cerro, Valdecanada, Bierzo, 2019

I like the 2019 El Cerro de Valdecanada, which is cleaner and more approachable. In general, the character of the 2019 vintage is rounder, but even so here there's no glycerin; it's pure bones without meat, but this is less austere than 2018. It's an expression of austerity that's a little more approachable. 600 bottles produced.
