95/100Luis Gutierrez,Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2018 Valdecanada has lots of iron and blood, rusty nail and iodine. It's earthy, stony and austerevery much with the profile from the soils and the zone that I've seen very clear in the wines from Michelini i Mufatto in my last tasting. It's austere and it's going to requite more time. The wines are nuanced and have an elegant profile, with moderate alcohol (all between 11.5% and 12%). It has everything except fruit. Give it time. 1,000 bottles produced.
