No Ultreia offer would be complete without something brand new and unheard of! Las Villegas is the site from which Ultreia de Valtuille is produced. In 2021, a single parcel of particularly sandy soils showed such a distinctively expressive, succulently perfumed profile that Raul opted to bottle it as a standalone wine. Certainly, one of the wines of the vintage, Ultreia Villegas is an incredibly refined Mencia. Silky, expressive with a sleek tannic glove and glowing, limpid strawberry and dark cherry like fruits. The drinkability and purity of the wine belies an intensity and potential. Produced from old vines of over 100 years old, it is simultaneously incredibly alluring and enticing, and intellectually satisfying – should you have the patience to wait.
