Superb quality wine, full of character and fragrace that draw you in from the first moments. Dark cherry and blackcurrant fruits, muscular tannins, sage, crayon, cocoa bean, ripples of freshly cut herbs, Philip Titus winemaker. 100% new French oak for ageing.

Blended prior to the 2023 harvest, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Pritchard Hill was in barrel during my November visitexpect it to be bottled in July 2024. It comes across as less tannic than the 2021, more immediately accessible, with waves of raspberry and cassis liqueur grounded by loamy earth. Full-bodied, creamy and lush, it finishes long and ripe. More flamboyant than the previous vintage, might it shine just as bright yet for a shorter period of time?
