Salt, lime and touches of peach on the nose. Linear and intense across the palate but with a good bit of flesh to it too. An invigorating, crystal clear Chardonnay with drive and succulence. Finishes with notes of roasted nut, salt and crisp stone fruit. Lovely!

The 2020 Chardonnay Santa Barbara County has savory scents of matchstick and beeswax complementing a core of white peach and quince. The light-bodied palate offers highly concentrated fruit and a mouth-coating texture that drives a long, flavorful finish. 313 cases were made.
The 2020 Chardonnay (Santa Barbara County) is terrific. Rich, layered and expansive, the 2020 will drink well right out of the gate. Lemon confit, tangerine oil, mint, baked apple tart and light tropical accents abound, but more than anything, it's the wine's texture and balance that impress most. The appellation Chardonnay is a blend from Sanford & Benedict and Zotovich aged in foudre. I loved it.
