Peay Vineyards
Sonoma Coast, Pinot Noir, 2013
justerini & brooks tasting note
Very bright cherry red colour. Perfumed and pretty red cherry notes , aromatic and detailed, very pure and showing no oak - fine boned indeed. A touch of stony minerality mid palate . This has found another level of elegance, a touch of spice and fresh fallen leaves adding complexity to the finish. A juicy and refreshing style that weighs in at a mere 13%

Peay's 2013 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is quite pretty and lifted, with lovely aromatic brightness. Sweet red cherry, raspberry and rose petal notes meld together in an effortless, gracious Pinot built on silkiness. This tasty Pinot is a good introduction to the Peay house style.
