Witness Tree, Eola Amity Hills, Pinot Noir, 2023

Witness Tree is an east facing slope ranging from 260-780 feet elevation. Just 125 cases of this 2023 Pinot were produced from two plots, one of which only yielded ten grapes per vine. Heady aromas of dried flowers and seductive cherries mingle with herbaceous, whole-bunch aromatics. The palate has deeper cherry notes, hints of earthier, slatey notes and juicy seductive fruit. Lots of energy and tension framed by grippy tannins that suggest good aging potential.
