Chenin Blancs from pioneering winemaking duo David & Nadia

We are pleased to present the single vineyard Chenin Blancs from pioneering winemaking duo David & Nadia. Each of these four crus are available at £336 per 6x75cl IB.

David & Nadia Sadie, a young husband and wife team, are recognized as one of Swartland's top producers. Their thoughtful approach to viticulture focuses on nurturing old vineyards and planting new ones, particularly Grenache and Chenin Blanc. From humble beginnings, they have become one of the Cape's very best.

At the top of the quality pyramid are four single vineyard Chenin Blancs: Hoë-Steen, Skaliekop, Plat’Bos, and Rondevlei each a faithful reflection of a different underlying soil type (iron-rich clay, shale, decomposed granite and weathered gravel, respectively). These are made in minute quantities with just a few barrels made each year. The old vines producing intense, terroir driven wines.
