Germany 2024: Mosel Classics
With our offer deadline approaching tomorrow at 5pm GMT, we conclude our series of 2024 recommendations with the fruity, sweet and noble sweet Mosel classics that no wine lover should go without.
First up, Joh. Jos. Prüm. Arguably the most famous address in the Middle Mosel, the 2024 collection does not put a foot wrong. Anybody with even a passing interest in classic wines ought to add a case of either Graacher Himmelreich Kabinett (£162/6 IB) or Wehlener Sonnenuhr Kabinett (£168/6 IB) to their collection, while the more complex Spätlesen from those two sites rank amongst the best of the vintage. At (£174/6 IB) for Graacher and £192/6 IB for Wehlener they are world-beating wines on both price and quality.
