Elegant aromas, not forced, but brittle and subtle with crisp yellow berries greengage and pale, bright citrus. Youthful, there is more to come here, as the Abtsberg still shows a light, attractive reduction. A relatively lean, slatey and very composed Kabinett.

The 2024 Riesling Maximin Grünhäuser Abtsberg Kabinett comes with lovely reduction that reminds of flint and wet walnut skin. It is intense with a ripe Amalfi lemon aroma that takes over with its scented, citric, fragrant brightness, adding zestiness to that texture. The 2024 shines with utterly mouth-watering clarity.
