New Release: Joh. Jos. Prüm – The 2024 Vintage

Today sees the release of the Joh. Jos. Prüm 2024s. A hit-parade of timeless, charming, classy wines, it is hard to imagine anyone regretting having laid a few cases down.

Katharina Prüm describes the 2024s as being “milder” than the 2021s – another cool year – “with no lack of anything, nor any extremes.” The sweetness up to Spätlese level presents in tasting as secondary to saltiness and freshness, the wines impeccably animated and pure.

As one of the most celebrated and in-demand wineries in Germany, quality remains as high as ever; the wines this year impressively intricate, detailed and elegant. Lovers of classic Mosel Riesling, or those simply seeking the best of the best, will not be disappointed by any of the wines in this latest release.
