Saint Veran, Madame Noly, 2023

Fruity and pure and with a pleasing sense of flesh - clearly excellent ripeness but also cool fresh flavours of conference pear and fine salt and confit lemon. This is easy to enjoy, but there’s good intensity and finish to it too. It was Madame Noly who sold them the vineyard, a single parcel of vines of around a hectare, planted on the pure limestone of the plateau of the Mont de Pouilly at around 400m altitude. Fermented and aged exclusively in tanks.
