Gewurztraminer, Les Treilles du Loup, 2023

Les Treilles du Loup has for a few years replaced the Cuvee Theo label, though it is important to note that it is a much drier wine at just 12g - just off-dry, in essence. The 2023 is a highly appealing Gewurztraminer, perfect for aromatic Asian dishes, matching a certain exoticism with a sharp acid line and genuine drinkability. The source for this bottling is 40-50 year old vines in the "Wolfreben" lieu-dit, located in the Kaysersberg valley between the Clos des Capucins and the village of Kaysersberg where the soils are a mix of sand and granite.
