From the limestone-rich soils of the Altenbourg, a steep, south-west facing slope just beneath the Grand Cru Furstentum, this is more structured and incisive in style, with pear, white peach, spiced ginger and salty, crushed stone. A pithy acidity brings grip and lift, balancing its oily texture.
