Pinot Noir, Colline du Chateau, 2023

Previously bottled as Cuvée S, La Colline du Château comes from vines on the granitic slopes of the Schlossberg. Owing to current appellation rules, the Grand Cru name cannot be used for Pinot Noir. Due to the very small quantities produced, we were unfortunately unable to taste this wine. Traditionally, it offers a more refined and serious expression than the Clos des Capucins, showing pointed red and dark bramble fruit with good concentration. Aged for 24 months in barrique, with a small proportion of new oak.
