Old style, old school Lanessan from a classically warm and successful vintage, at a sweet spot for drinking. Soft, melted tannins, dark blackberry fruit, luscious with cocoa bean, cedar, soy and campfire smoke. Balanced and very charming. Owned at the time by the Bouteiller family, as it was until 2022, when bought by Treasury Wine Estates.
