Château Malescot St Exupery
Château Malescot St Exupery, 3ème Cru Classé, Margaux, 2015
justerini & brooks tasting note
After a run of unsuccessful vintages, Malescot has hit back in 2015 with a beautiful, stylish, vibrant wine, which hits all the right notes. The fruit is dark and brooding yet backlit with starry cranberry notes. There is an inky quality to the crème de cassis palate, supported by firm, impressive, well-measured tannins. It remains vital and refreshing throughout and finishes with creamy, fruit coated tannins.

87/100Neal Martin,Vinous
The 2015 Malescot St. Exupery has a slightly blowsy bouquet with dark berry fruit, cola and light loamy scents. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, a dash of soy and a little chewiness toward the finish. This is just a bit unexciting in the scheme of things. Tasted blind at the 2015 Bordeaux Ten-Year-On tasting.
