This exceptionally well located vineyard in St Christophe de Barde has been a fascinating project to follow ever since its purchase by Peter Sisseck and Silvio Denz in 2010, and this second vintage, while still early days, was the first in the new winery, and is tasting delicious at 13 years old, if not at the level that it is today. As it approaches maturity, the limestone terroir is making its presence felt, with a tobacco leaf, saffron and brambled red fruits, along with a kick of mandarin and slate. 30% new oak for ageing, organic farming.
