Château Sociando-Mallet
Château Sociando Mallet, Haut Médoc, 2014
justerini & brooks tasting note
Dark purple yet bright, blackcurrant and violets, intense purity and freshness yet with dense palate coating textured - Cabernet Sauvignon at its best. Finesse, length and depth of flavour; this of very good classed growth quality.
critic reviews
93/100Jane Anson,Inside Bordeaux
A touch austere, good depth and Left Bank character, a ton of pencil lead and cassis fruit, not exactly generous even at 10 years old, feels like this has a lot of ageing potential, mint leaf, eucalyptus, sage, black pepper lift, old school balance. 100% new oak.
