Mercurey

Mercurey, found at the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, is one the foremost Burgundian appellations. Protected from winds, tucked away by the hillsides of the aptly-named “Golden Valley”, the vineyards stretch as far as the neighbouring village of Saint-Martin-sous-Montaigu. It's AOC status was introduced in 1923.
