A style and nuance that is rare for Gevrey villages. A blend of four parcels near the cooling Gevrey "Combe", fermented with 20% whole bunches. This yields a fresh, soft touch, full and sensual style of Gevrey.

The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Village perhaps is just missing a little cohesion and vigour on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine acidity, though it runs out of ideas towards the finish.
