(from what was previously a quarry just under Meursault Perrières Dessus and above Albert Grivault's Clos des Perrières ): Precise aromas of nectarine, lemon, orange juice and spices, with a stony Chablis-like topnote. A fruit bomb of peach and nectarine on the palate, displaying lovely intensity and lemony cut. Finishes with noteworthy rising length and a repeating note of orange juice. Follin-Arbelet refers to this wine as a small Perrières, noting that the permitted yield here is a bit higher than in Perrières but that the soil is essentially the same. And it sells for less than half the price of the estate's Perrières.
