A very well-positioned 1er Cru where the clay soils impart a roundness and unctuosity to the wines. More voluptuous than many Pulignys but with a finer expression than most Meursaults, this is seductive and flowing. Stylish, melting characteristics of butter, citrus, fresh-cut flower and silk with a fine acidity that supports rather than imposes itself. Harmonious and nourishing. From a 0.5 hectare parcel of old vines next door to Meursault Perrières.
