More reductive and tightly wound with a very racy sort of nose. Smoky, stony and very Puligny in style. Palate has a certain depth, a citrus and limestone impression, a touch of stone fruit, and a real sense of dry extract. A wine of focussed intensity, old vine concentration, drive and impact. Half of the plot has been ripped up to be replanted, so volumes are sadly much smaller this year.
