Fixin, 2020

Arnaud Mortet is one of Fixin’s great advocates, believing that its combination of profound, complex soils and position on the Combe yields wines with a fine, fragrant mineral profile not dissimilar to the great Lavaux Saint Jacques. Fine blue and red Pinot fruits with a suave, velvety core of summer pudding, a touch of earth and fresh raspberry notes - lip smacking stuff. From vines averaging 60 years old, raised in 15% new oak with 70% whole bunches.
