Coming from a blend of Les Crotots, En Luraule, and En la Barre, with some young vines Charmes and Perrieres included in 2022 for good measure, this is a broad shouldered, powerful Meursault villages with plenty of structure, breadth and concentration. Energy comes from behind and provides a sense of propulsion. A reasonably immediate rendition.

The 2022 Meursault Village comes from five parcels plus some de-selected fruit from Les Perrières and Les Charmes. It has a light bouquet at first, opening in the glass with hints of dried honey and quince mixed with grilled almonds. The medium-bodied palate shows commendable purity and touches of tropical fruit mixed with white pepper. Nicely focused with quite a persistent finish. Very classy.
