Tight-wound but waiting to spring into life. Brooding but with tremendous precision and polish, a complex haunting array of floral fruit notes of cherry, redcurrant, strawberry and salt and stone. Irresistible if a little reserved at first, but vivid, energetic and suave by the time you get to the long, peacock’s tail finish. A small but beautiful cuvée for Lamarche, who have tiny holdings of only 0.31 ha.
