La Grande Rue is an exceptional vineyard that sits next to La Tâche and was granted the honour of Grand Cru status in 1992. The 2009 is bewitching, wonderfully textured, satin-like, with ripe juicy flavours of berries, cherries, sloe and damson. This is a bright and vivacious 2009, with delightful mineral highlights and culminating in a long, truly haunting vintage. Stunning.
