A first rate 1er Cru, so complete. All of the intensity you would expect from a wine of this level but with such striking composure and complexity. Vibrant, alluring strawberry and damson fruit flecked with bright mineral notes,such sweetness freshness complexity and length, all delivered very gracefully. There are few growers who manipulate vines in this tiny enclave within Romanée-St-Vivant – it is therefore little known and rarely seen; however, it is capable of producing exceptional wines.
