Gripping, mineral and muscular; classical Nuits. More vital and streamlined than the Clos des Porets but just as powerful. Straight, clear focused flavours of red berries, stones, red cherry with a hint of fruit liqueur. A parcel of 50-year-old vines close to Clos des Porrets that, like its neighbour, also produces classic powerful and particularly mineral Nuits.
