    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note
Domaine Jean Grivot, Nuits St Georges, Aux Boudots, 1er Cru, 2010

Boudots, well situated next to Vosne-Romanée Malconsorts, produces some of the bigger, richer and broader style Nuits. A classic open, full-fruited unctuous wine with the bright red fruit highlights of the vintage. Long, generous and enveloping, this was born to please.

Medium red. Musky, reticent aromas of redcurrant, iron, tobacco and meat. Silky, broad and dry; less fruity than the Charmois and more closed today. Finishes with fine, broad tannins and herbal and peppery nuances. Hard to taste today as it shows less primary fruit character than the higher-pitched Charmois.
