Perfumed and seductive, purring with rich cherry, wild plum and ripe hedgerow fruit from start to finish. Plump, but not without delicacy and an underlying freshness. Hugely alluring. From three parcels within the En La Rue de Vergy vineyard that sits above Clos de Tart, a vineyard which tends to reflect the generous fruity side of Morey St Denis.

The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis en la Rue de Vergy is aged one-half in Wineglobe. It has a charming nose, quite fresh with a slight Chambolle-like personality. The palate is taut and linear, fine tannins, smooth texture, not deep but joyful and energetic on its zesty finish. This will be difficult to resist in its youth.
