Offering up aromas of sweet spices, berries, orange rind and forest floor, the 2021 Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru Les Duresses is medium-bodied, fleshy and supple, with powdery tannins that lend it a somewhat more structured profile than the melting Monthelie.
