Puligny-Montrachet, Les Nosroyes, 2024
Glorious nose. A supple, silky and wonderfully balanced Puligny with very clear fruit that balances a raciness with great charm and silk. Subtle, yet with a focused inner intensity. No hard lines here, but plenty of excitement. What more could you want from a Puligny villages? A very fine Puligny village vineyard towards the top of the slope on the north side of the village, just underneath Les Perrières, here there is a predominance of limestone. A well-drained site that typically yields finely-etched but ripe-fruited wines with a chalky finish.

The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Les Nosroyes has more complexity on the nose than the Levrons: citrus fruit, popcorn and grilled walnut scents floating from the glass. The palate is taut and fresh, more tension than the Levrons, zesty with a persistent finish and just a touch of reduction. Excellent.
