The 2021 Saint-Aubin Derrière Chez Edouard 1er Cru has strong estuarine scents on the nose - crustacea and a light briny scent. Very well-defined. The palate is precise with orange rind and bitter lemon on the entry, fine depth and energy, cohering beautifully towards the finish. This is a composed, sapid Saint-Aubin.
