A deep bright, purple colour, intense and very tight, so precise and clear, pithy black cherry , cherry stone and mulberry fruit, with lifting notes of raspberries and minerals, pure and very powerful but with greater finesse than any other vintage, this keeps you coming back for more, a real triumph.

The 2008 Nuits St. Georges Clos de la Maréchale offers up black cherries, sweet spices, flowers and licorice, all of which meld together beautifully in a weightless, impeccably elegant style. Floral, minty notes add complexity and nuance on the refined finish.
