    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

Very young but you can feel the density and depth in this Les Clos, a wine that required 12 nights of frost protection by way of Bougies. Almond blossom and blanched almonds, a touch of jasmine too – this feels like quite an ornate Les Clos aromatically, while the palate is sleek, with sweet peachy fruit, touches of roasted nut and salted peach. Minerals on the finish, textured and flowing. Harvest carried out on the 2nd September.

The 2022 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru has quite a lively, effervescent bouquet with orange zest and quince aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a soft, creamy opening and plenty of tropical fruit. What is missing is a bit of acidic "bite,” particularly on the finish, but it has an approachable nature that will have broad appeal.
