Chassagne-Montrachet, Les Caillerets, 1er Cru, 2015
justerini & brooks tasting note
Such refinement, sunny yet so fine-tuned and clear. Attractive and alluring but not without a serious, complex side. Notes of yellow fruits, stone fruits, with hints of crushed stone and minerals. Long, classy and elegant with some vitality seeing this through to a long finish. A high, stony vineyard, one of the very best in Chassagne. The wine is aged in just 10% new oak.
