There’s a wonderful sense of controlled flesh to this. It’s intense without being hard. Saline and deep with real minerality overlayed by a seductive sheen of fine fruit. Top notch Chassagne from two plots in the Morgeot sector. The soils here are a little deeper than Thierry’s higher 1er cru vineyards.
