With its rocky, crunchy mineral and stone profile, this has real edge and tension to it. An underlying buttery character helps the flavours flow and prolongs the powerful finish. Pitangerets is a cooler vineyard with slightly poorer soils than the Charmois, producing firmer, more savoury wines.
