Robert Chevillon
Bourgogne, Rouge, 2020
justerini & brooks tasting note
Dense, dark and powerful – really deep for a Bourgogne, definitely one to lay down. By the finish some nice, aromatic, red fruited Pinot notes shimmers through the wine's intense, thick-set core.

The 2020 Bourgogne Pinot Noir has quite high-toned bouquet with fig-tinged black cherry fruit. The palate is sweet and candied, a little confit like, something almost Tuscan about the finish. Still, enjoyable, if not exactly Pinot-like.
