Nuits-Saint-Georges, Les Bousselots, 1er Cru, 2011

Silky Vosne-Romanée style, like the Chaignots, but with a little more density and dark fruit. This is brimming with flavours of sloe, bramble, black cherry and crème de mûre characteristics with shades of strawberry, set in a wonderful velvet-textured structure. Seductive, elegant and deep. Bousselots is from the Vosne side of the Nuits commune.
