An excellent rendition of Bertrand’s Nuits Villages, with floral, dark berry fruit over fine grained gripping tannins, wild hedgerow notes, light spice and salt. While it has power, what really impresses is extra precision on display this year – smart stuff. From 50 to 60-year-old vines, aged in 15% new oak.

Aromas of orange, dark berries, plums and spices introduce Chevillon's 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes, a medium to full-bodied, supple and perfumed wine that's charming and sensual, concluding with a saline finish. This cuvee never seems to miss a beat.
