Robert Chevillon
Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vieilles Vignes, 2024
justerini & brooks tasting note
A fragrant and charming Nuits villages, brimming with sweet cherry, autumn raspberry and rosehip. There’s allure and also ornate, traditionally leaning floral elements. A lovely rendition with good depth of fruit and supple, melting tannins. A joy to drink. From multiple plots of 50 to 60-year-old vines, aged in 15% new oak.

The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges Villages clearly offers more fruit concentration than the regional red with ebullient raspberry and crushed strawberry scents. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with quite strict tannins that frame the dark berry and graphite-tinged fruit. Well balanced with decent length, this comes recommended.
