Robert Groffier
Bourgogne, Passetoutgrain, 2017
justerini & brooks tasting note
Crunchy, crisp and full of energy, with brisk bittersweet berry and bay notes before a palate that offers more charm and silk than you might expect. Full of life. A blend of a maximum 25% Gamay and 75% Pinot Noir aged in used oak barrels only.

The 2017 Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, which includes 25% Gamay, has a perfumed bouquet of simple red currant and cranberry aromas. The palate is well balanced with tart red fruit, fresh acidity and a bright, rustic, slightly citric finish. Fine.
