Chambolle Musigny, Les Hauts Doix, 1er Cru, 2022

Energetic and taut, with a compact core of intense and salty fruit and a great focussed, dart like finish. This is so very lively, its bittersweet fruit and fine salty berries making for a Pinot of genuine and mouthwatering excitement. A little known but wonderful parcel of 70-year-old vines within Amoureuses that faces east. Fermented with 50% whole bunches and aged in 30% new oak.
